Deniree Isabel Mendoza Vasquez–that’s me– is a 20 year old, who is proudly in her 2nd year in Crafts & Design–Textiles at Sheridan College. Though I am currently living just outside of Toronto, Canada; I cannot wait until I can expand my knowledge and become an explorer of the world. With all my fingers and toes crossed textiles will be the medium that will take me to all the places I dream about. Now textiles is a wide field, capable of many possiblities. But my personal interests lie in embroidery, knitting/crocheting, and screen printing and especially when I get to do all three together! As a visual artist, I like to draw and paint although I often forget to do either.
If you’re interested in joining me on my journey through school, textiles and fellow artists; please subscribe. *Disclaimer: no guarantees that it’ll be as exciting as Bilbo’s.
